Happy New Year everyone! This is my first public virtual class in a while, and back by popular demand. While COVID restrictions may be behind us, a virtual class is still an excellent way to connect with friends who are not here in Thunder Bay and practice your own cooking skills as we cook together!
As we re-think our defaults and challenge ourselves to make positive change, this class will focus on time management in the kitchen as well as from-scratch cooking as we create several freezer meals. We will be discussing knife skills and creative recipe development as we seek to stretch our own culinary imagination. Making larger amounts at a time also provides space in our busy lives where we can have days where we enjoy our own homecooked food without having to cook every day.
Virtual classes come with recipes and a grocery and equipment list sent a week in advance, and a 3-hour class with plenty of opportunity for interaction and questions.
- French Cassoulet (chicken stew)
- Sweet potato and black bean enchiladas
- Bahamian baked macaroni
- Sesame ginger meatballs
The class is about 3 hours in length and begins promptly at 4:30 pm. However, we will open up the room at 4:00 so that guests can prepare, ask questions and connect with other guests. At 7:00 or so we will adjourn and enjoy our delicious creations!
Cost is $40 (including HST) per household/computer. Register through Paypal link below or e-transfer to email@example.com and be sure to make a note of the particular class this is for in the memo! Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation, and several days before the class begins you will receive full recipes and prep materials.
Your seat is confirmed once payment has been received. If you are unable to attend the class, please let me know at least one week in advance. A refund of 100% will be provided if notice is given at least one week in advance or if you are able to find someone else to take your spot. Less than 1 week notice will result in a 50% refund. Please contact me with extenuating circumstances.
