For March, we are celebrating French cuisine! As the foundation of so much of today’s cuisine, and part of my heritage, I am so excited to bring you some of my favourite flavours from France. We will make a popular French appetizer and learn about composed salads with the Niçoise, enjoy the classic bourguignon with a northern flair with the addition of elk, and end the evening learning some French pastry technique with our dessert. Local producers celebrated this month are: Rainy River Elk Company, Tarrymore Farms, Eat the Fish, Prime Gelato.
- · Smoked salmon with whipped cheese and shallot canape
- · Nicoise salad jardiniere
- · Prime Sorbetto
- · Beef and elk bourguignon, thyme infused rutabaga, baguette and Brie
- · Classic French apple tarte
